What is PATTERNBASE?

PATTERNBASE is an experimental design studio based in Chicago, with a focus on surface print and textile design. Founded by Kristi O’Meara in 2011, the studio specializes in developing unique, trend-driven prints & patterns for fashion, home goods, modern textiles, and interiors. We offer unique, trend-driven prints to a variety of clients, ranging from emerging designers to large retail brands. Our work incorporate both traditional art making processes and futuristic digital design trends. We are inspired by fashion, art history, nature, advancements in technology, and internet culture.

How do I sign up to view the Print Collection?

Our Print Collection is for industry professionals interested in purchasing work from our studio. To view our full catalog of exclusive designs, please request access. We screen all applicants to ensure the security & exclusivity of our designs. An access password will be sent to you upon verification of your credentials.

How are your files formatted? Can I edit them after purchase?

Designs are sold as different file types depending on your license, including: JPG, PNG, PSD, AI, or TIFF. Non-Exclusive designs are typically delivered as JPG or PNG. Exclusive licenses are typically delivered as fully editable files and will come with all layers where layers are used in the creation. All file information is displayed on the design’s product page. Please check the product description for details, or contact us with any questions you may have before purchase.

Do you create custom prints?

Currently, we are not offering custom design services.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by Credit/Debit card, Paypal, Zelle, or Chase Quick Pay. We are also currently working on an option to pay with cryptocurrencies.

Can I return a design I have bought?

Designs are not refundable once they have been downloaded. If you experience any technical issues with your files, please notify us within 7 days of purchase and we will provide a replacement.

Are you hiring?
